Violet Eden is Grigori - part angel, part human. Her destiny is to protect humans from the vengence of exiled angels.
Knowing who to trust is key but, when Grigori reinforcements arrive, it becomes clear everyone is hiding something. Even Lincoln. The only thing Violet does know: Phoenix's hold over her is more dangerous than ever.
The race to find the one thing that could tilt the balance of power brings them all to the sacred mountains of Jordan, where Violet's power will be pushed to the extreme. And the ultimate betrayal exposed.

Enticed is the second compelling book in The Violet Eden Chapters.

Embrace is one of my favorite novels of all time and it has one of the best love triangles in YA. While Entice was a thoroughly engrossing read, it didn’t have the same qualities that pulled me into Embrace. Instead, it is much more action packed and driven by mysteries.

The very best part of Embrace, in my opinion, has always been the love triangle and the general romance. Jessica Shirvington has a knack for writing heart felt and steamy scenes. The love story is still present throughout Entice, but it isn’t the focal point. We also see less of Phoenix and the love triangle is seriously de-emphasized. While I wish there was more of Phoenix, there was still enough romance to keep me intrigued.

Rather than having the whole plot revolve around the love triangle, we see Violet training hard, kicking ass, and unraveling some serious puzzles. We get answers to a few of the questions we had at the end of the Embrace, plus a whole lot of other story lines that I won’t delve into it. Steph plays a more prominent role in Entice and it is clear that she is tough and smart—something that wasn’t as apparent in Embrace.

Entice has a healthy dose of romance and a whole lot of action to keep readers entertained. The mythology is unique and drives a significant amount of the plot. Characterized by love, deceit, and intrigue, Entice is a must read for angel lore fans.
